About The Position
FM Industries is a premier manufacturing solutions provider specializing in build to print, precision machined components, anodizing, and engineered thermal spray coatings. They provide customers leading-edge support from prototype to production. The Driver is responsible for making local deliveries within the Greater Bay Area using a company truck, ensuring proper handling and protection of company product, delivering to customer and/or vendor sites, and completing necessary documentation during the delivery process. This role also involves shipping, receiving, pick-up, and deliveries to and from suppliers and customers.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Class C delivery driver
- Must have a current/valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Must be 25 years or older
Responsibilities
- Responsible for making local deliveries within the Greater Bay Area using a company truck
- proper handling of company product ensuring protection from damage, mishandling, etc.
- delivery to customer and/or vendor sites and making certain the necessary documentation is signed off and completed during the delivery process
- Responsible for shipping, receiving, pick-up and deliveries to and from suppliers and customers
- Ensure signatures are obtained during handoff of deliveries
- Daily inspect delivery truck and inform Lead or Department Manager of upcoming or needed maintenance
