About The Position

With locations in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota, Forum Communications Printing addresses commercial printing and mailing needs with our high-quality print and mail solutions. Services include magazine, catalog, book, and tradeshow printing, brochures, direct mailers, postcards, variable data printing, statements, glossy inserts, annual reports, fulfillment, first class mail pick-up, and print & digital publications. Forum Communications Printing is part of Forum Communications Company, a 5th-generation, family-owned, Upper Midwest media company. The Driver role is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional transportation of printed materials, multimedia products, and related supplies or equipment to customers, vendors, and other internal locations. This position requires adherence to company safety policies and operational standards. The driver ensures that materials are delivered accurately, securely, and professionally, supporting customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The Driver position also assists with warehouse, shipping/receiving, and light material handling tasks as needed. This is a Part-Time position, working Monday - Friday, approximately 25 hours/week, 10pm - 3am - some flexibility required!

Requirements

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions.
  • Ability to listen and respond to service issues.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that is insurable by the company.
  • Must carry an acceptable level of vehicle insurance as required by the company.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or related experience or training is ideal.
  • Knowledge of the service/delivery area strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company vehicles (such as vans or small trucks) for pick-up and delivery of printed materials, multimedia products, and supplies.
  • Load and unload products, ensuring all items are properly secured to prevent damage in transit.
  • Verify delivery documentation, including packing slips, invoices, and delivery logs, ensuring accuracy before departure.
  • Provide professional, courteous customer service when interacting with clients, vendors, and internal staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle, reporting any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
  • Follow all company safety policies, traffic laws, and local regulations.
  • Assist in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory staging, and packaging, during non-driving periods if needed.
  • Keep current and updated on mail and postal regulations.
  • In the event of an accident involving a company vehicle, employee is required to follow procedure as detailed in FCP Motor Vehicle Safety Program.
  • Communicate delivery status, delays, or issues to the dispatch/operations team in a timely manner.
