About The Position

The Truck Driver is responsible for driving trucks and various other vehicles to provide safe and timely service to all Donation Express Centers (DEC), Stores, and other collection points. Make daily inspections of truck equipment, complete proper paperwork, report accidents and repair requirements immediately following the proper procedure. Properly load and unload trucks, maintain clean and properly inspected vehicles, adhere to a predetermined work schedule, and is responsible for the overall appearance of assigned vehicles. Responsible for loading/unloading trucks and keeping the Warehouse dock clean. Responsible for safe and timely service of all DECs, Stores and other donation collection points.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED or equivalent
Must hold a valid Class D license and pass a DOT physical including a drug test
Certified forklift operator, or be able to obtain certification within three (3) months of hire
A background screening and reference checks will be completed as a condition of employment
A driving record check will also be completed

Previous delivery driving experience is preferred
