About The Position

Dallas Life has an immediate opening. How about working for an amazing Christian organization driving 29 hours each week while helping transform people for Christ? That's what we do here at Dallas LIFE, the largest homeless recovery center in North Texas. We want a male who has accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior, who is at least 25 years of age, has a good driving record and who LOVES people. If that is you, we want to talk with you!!! General Purpose of Position Responsible for accepting, transporting and delivering donated food items as well as additional items requested of you by the Director of Operations, the Executive Director or their designee. Major Duties and Responsibilities Maintains DL truck mileage log and gasoline needs. Organizes donations and gives receipts to donors requesting them. Keeps Director of Operations informed as to items picked up. Keep perishable foods on the truck only as long as needed Keeps Food Supervisor and Back Dock aware of donations being dropped off Oversees and supervises assistant in collecting and delivering donations Maintains excellent hygiene and punctuality Represents Dallas LIFE in a friendly and pleasant manner Assists in a variety of special assignments requested by the Executive Director. Skills and Abilities Must have accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. Must have a valid Texas DL. No CDL required. Ability to direct the work activity of others. High level of analytical ability where problems may be complex. Strong organizational abilities. No exceptions. Education and/or Training High School education or equivalency.
