About The Position

As a Driver, you will be responsible for operating company vehicles in a courteous and professional manner, following all Department of Transportation (DOT), local, state, and federal regulations, as well as Company policies and procedures to ensure the safe transport of Company and customer cargo, and the safety of the public while driving. Delivers and picks up cargo and Company equipment to and from customers within designated time frames, utilizing Company vehicles for Company business only. Not only will you be required to truck items from one point to another, but many times is the sole member of our team to have direct customer contact. You will also be responsible for the safe loading and securing of the truck loads and assists with loading. Why Join Meyer? Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid CDL Class A/B License or a DOT Medical Card
  • One year or more of commercial driving and/or box truck driving experience
  • The ability to do pre-trips on trucks regarding vehicle maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, manifests, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
