About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and versatile individual to serve as both a Driver for Events and a Facilities Support. This hybrid role involves transporting event equipment and staff to various locations, and during non-driving hours, performing maintenance and facility support tasks. The ideal candidate is proactive, flexible, and has both technical skills and a strong service orientation. Requirements

  • Valid TX Driver’s License with a clean driving record and held for at least 5 years.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed based on event schedules.
  • Ability to drive the company truck and pull a trailer.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with event logistics and equipment.
  • Forklift or equipment handling certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport event equipment, supplies, and personnel to and from event venues.
  • Load and unload vehicles efficiently, ensuring all items are secured properly.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct regular safety checks.
  • Coordinate with the events team to ensure timely deliveries aligned with setup and breakdown schedules.
  • Provide on-site support during events as needed (e.g., helping with setup/teardown).
  • Learn basic warehouse tasks and cover the warehouse if the Supervisor is out
  • Perform general building maintenance tasks including minor electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry work
  • Respond to facility service requests and troubleshoot building issues.
  • Support general repairs and upkeep of the facility, including lighting, minor carpentry, and painting.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized parking lot and warehouse which includes storage and staging.
  • Ensure building systems operate efficiently and safely, complying with all safety standards and regulations.
