About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Shuttle Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a 12 person shuttle van transporting passengers to and from Sea-Tac Airport. Your role is vital in maintaining smooth operations, providing excellent customer service, and upholding safety standards across all driving activities. Requirements

  • Proven experience as a shuttle driver, delivery driver, bus driver, or similar role involving commercial driving.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate various types of vehicles including limousines, paratransit vehicles, school buses, or heavy-duty trucks.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with passengers and team members.
  • Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
  • Experience in customer service roles that require patience, professionalism, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type being operated; commercial driver’s license required.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged periods of driving or standing.
  • Must be available any day of the week, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate shuttle vehicles to transport passengers, adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
  • Assist passengers with loading and unloading of luggage, providing friendly and professional customer service at all times.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, checking for mechanical issues, safety equipment, and cleanliness to ensure optimal operation.
  • Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members using radios or other communication devices to coordinate schedules and report issues.
  • Perform light maintenance tasks such as refueling, basic cleaning, and reporting any mechanical concerns promptly.
  • Handle heavy lifting when necessary to load or unload cargo or assist passengers with mobility needs.
  • Additional duties in downtime include assisting with the cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel. Including cleaning of the parking lot, removing trash and/or debris and assisting guest whenever needed.
