As a Driver, you will deliver equipment in a safe, timely, efficient, and courteous manner. This position does not require a CDL driver's license.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid and clean driver's license
• Superior customer service skills
• Diligent attention to safety and safe driving procedures
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment
• Frequent lifting of items up to 45 pounds
• This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals’ policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers
• Operate heavy construction equipment such as manual transmission semi-trucks and trailers ("rollbacks" or dovetails") consistent with DOT classification CDL-B
• Maintain a driver log
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies as customers may need
• Operate boom trucks and cranes in accordance with manufacturer specifications
• Other duties as assigned
