About The Position

Project Chesapeake provides quality addiction treatment, behavioral health therapy & treatment for individuals with a dual diagnosis. We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, & professional, part-time driver to join our team in our Southern Anne Arundel County locations. Our mission is to provide an opportunity for individuals to learn how to live a positive, sober lifestyle while empowering them to make changes that will lead to successful, independent living. Hours: Part time Tuesday & Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm Must be flexible in case the driver is needed earlier than 9:00am or later than 5:00pm.

Requirements

• Professionalism, boundaries & ethics with all client, staff & referral interactions.
• Valid Driver's License
• Good driving record
• Ability to observe, identify, document & inform others if physical, cognitive & behavioral changes are a concern.
• Understands the field of addiction, mental health, & recovery.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in Behavioral Health is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transporting individuals to our residential treatment program(s).
• Transporting clients to their next destination after successful completion of the residential treatment program.
• Transporting clients to approved appointments or court hearings as needed & stay with the client during the appointment.
• Communicate when clients are picked up / dropped off.
• Ability to use technology, apps, smartphone for daily transportation instructions.
