About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team, responsible for transporting goods and materials efficiently to our store locations from the warehouse. This role emphasizes safety and adherence to traffic regulations while performing manual tasks such as loading and unloading packages.

Requirements

• Proficient in driving various types of vehicles.
• Experience in heavy lifting and moving items safely and efficiently up to 50lbs.
• Familiarity with delivery driving practices and warehouse operations.
• Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping.
• Experience in commercial driving is a plus, along with knowledge of load securing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws.
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.
• Assist in warehouse operations when not on the road, including organizing inventory and preparing shipments.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes for efficiency.
