About The Position
The position involves safely operating a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes. The job requires adherence to Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, as well as local, state, and federal regulations. The role includes performing pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting unsafe situations, and maintaining a clean and safe vehicle. The driver will work closely with Route Managers to improve route efficiencies and communicate customer requests or issues.
