This position is for Drivers at an Adult Day Center, specifically for those who will be transporting seniors and adults with disabilities. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• At least three years of experience with a valid driver’s license and state/vehicle-specific driver credentials.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver assistive devices or wheelchairs.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Prior experience working with seniors and/or adults with special needs is helpful.
• Ability to pass a required physical exam including a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
• Successful results of a background check and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Clear pre-employment drug test results.

Responsibilities

• Transporting members safely during their time in care.
• Assisting members with on- and off-boarding and any special needs during transport.
• Maintaining the company vehicle in a clean and obstacle-free condition, ensuring it is in good working order, and reporting any issues promptly.
