About The Position

As a Driver at Genefic Infusion Rx you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of medications and medical supplies to our customers. You will represent our pharmacy with professionalism and courtesy as you interact with customers during deliveries. This position requires a responsible individual with excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Requirements

• Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Demonstrate reliability and punctuality in fulfilling delivery schedules.
• Prioritize safety while driving and handling medications during deliveries.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with customers.
• Ability to accurately follow delivery instructions and maintain detailed records.
• Ability to lift and carry packages of various weights and sizes.
• Knowledge of local streets and neighborhoods to navigate efficiently.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in delivery or courier services is preferred.
• Basic understanding of medications and medical supplies is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently deliver prescriptions, medical supplies, and other items to customers' homes or healthcare facilities.
• Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency and ensure timely deliveries. Familiarize yourself with the local area to navigate through various routes effectively.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure the delivery vehicle is in good working condition. Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel for maintenance and repairs.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries. Answer any questions customers may have regarding their medications or delivery process.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations regarding the handling and delivery of medications.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures and verifying delivery addresses.
• Maintain open communication with the pharmacy team regarding delivery schedules, delays, or any other relevant information.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed by management.
