About The Position

This position offers a great opportunity for retirees and is available in full-time, part-time, and per-diem capacities. As a Driver for an Adult Day Center, you will be responsible for transporting seniors and adults with disabilities, ensuring their safety and comfort during transit. The role is designed for individuals who have a passion for serving others and making a difference in their community. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Minimum three (3) years with a valid driver's license and state/vehicle-specific driver credentials.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver assistive devices or wheelchairs.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Prior experience working with seniors and/or adults with special needs is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Ensure members are transported safely whenever they are in your care.
• Assist members with on- and off-boarding and with any special needs during transport.
• Ensure the company vehicle is 'member-ready' at all times: clean and free from obstacles, and in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
