About The Position

To Drive light automotive equipment such as automobiles, vans, or small trucks, when not so engaged, to perform manual labor tasks, and to do related work as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Experience as an operator of motor equipment.
• Thorough knowledge of the State laws pertaining to the operation of motor vehicles on the highway.
• Ability to follow oral or written instructions.
• Related capacities and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform miscellaneous duties, such as carrying mail to and from post office, helping delivery of supplies, etc.
• Keep vehicle clean, polished, and in operating condition.
• Assist supply clerk with heavy work.
• Report any malfunctions of vehicles immediately to Supervisor.
• Use courtesy at all times to deal tactfully with people sometimes under stressful conditions.
• Assist elderly and infirm patients in and out of vehicle.
• Maintain confidentiality at all levels of interaction.
