We are committed to building the best primary care environment for patients and are seeking healthcare enthusiasts to join us. The position involves transporting patients from their place of origin to appointments in a courteous and timely manner, requiring a high commitment to service excellence.

  • Pick up and return of patients as per schedule.
  • Stay in contact with the office to report any change in schedule including any patient cancellations.
  • Assist patients to get in and out of the vehicle.
  • Assist patients with wheelchair.
  • Ensure the safety of all passengers.
  • Work flexible shifts as work dictates.
  • Deliveries, Holter monitors, and miscellaneous pick-ups as needed.
  • Transport patients to hospital or specialist office.
  • Check and maintain van daily and ensure that it is mechanically safe and clean.
  • Report any incident or accidents to the supervisor and management immediately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Wear company uniform.
  • Utilize phone as routing system.
  • Any other duties as assigned by manager.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Up to 1 year driving experience required; patient transportation preferred
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish Preferred
  • Clean driving record
  • Knowledge of local streets and addresses
  • Customer service skills
  • Valid Drivers license
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to transport members in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule and location.
  • Must be able to comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Must have basic mechanical skills i.e. ability to check and fully inspect their vehicles daily.
