About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Driver/Valet Attendant will be to provide a warm and welcoming experience for all resort guests and members. They will act as an ambassador for Juniper Preserve by providing exceptional service and providing detailed information regarding property outlets and featured amenities. The Driver/Valet Attendant will be offering transportation to and from property as needed, park guest vehicles, and maintain property vehicle cleanliness on a weekly basis.

Requirements

  • Must be over 21 years of age.
  • Able to pass a drug test.
  • Valid Oregon driver’s license with no alcohol related offenses
  • Position is subject to a background check.
  • Any in-house training sessions which the applicant has performed in past employment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, standard operating procedures, memos, and email correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information to both guests and staff.
  • Ability to hold and comprehend phone conversations.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Ability to drive safely and securely.
  • Ability to navigate the Bend/Redmond area, including Mt. Bachelor and RDM.
  • Ability to multi-task to provide solutions to situations dealing with several variables.
  • Use of Google platform, Word, Excel and Gmail.
  • Ability to clean vehicles, inside and out.
  • Requires a valid Oregon Driver License with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain complete knowledge at all times of: House count, golf guest information, Iris restaurant basics;
  • Features and services of the property;
  • Hours of operation for each outlet;
  • Parking facilities, layout and procedures;
  • Valet services and status;
  • Scheduled daily group activities and resort functions.
  • Must demonstrate a guest driven style of service with an upbeat, friendly sense of urgency in all interactions with all guests.
  • Greet and welcome all guests that come to the property with an enthusiastic, professional manner.
  • Provide valet services to each and every Clubhouse guest (members and guests).
  • Park guest vehicles in designated areas with respect and in a timely manner.
  • Assist guests with property orientation and educate guests to property amenities and features.
  • Complete opening and closing checklists.
  • Work a varying schedule to include evenings, mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Manage the workflow effectively and in an organized and timely manner.
  • Transport guests to and from Juniper Preserve property using company issued vehicles, obeying all driving standards at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all company vehicles, including golf carts.
  • Complete guest errands such as grocery shopping or deliveries as assigned by management (rare).
  • Must maintain the privacy of all Juniper Preserve guests.
  • Able to effectively handle multiple tasks
  • Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Maintains a professional standard at Juniper Preserve, including, but not limited to, appearance, interaction with members, associates, guests of the resort, verbal discussions and written correspondence. Does not discuss work related issues with members and resort guests.
  • Maintains a positive attitude and the flexibility to take on new and different tasks as assigned by the Transportation Manager
