The Driver Trainee will engage in a structured Driver Training Program while concurrently fulfilling the responsibilities of a Freight Handler. The training program is extensive, requiring 8 hours of hands-on driving experience in a Company truck and an additional 25 hours of yard training. This yard training encompasses critical skills such as pre-trip inspections, proper control usage, hooking and unhooking trailers, and backing maneuvers, all under direct observation and instruction. Current Company Freight Handler associates are selected for this program based on exceptional job performance and a desire to become a Driver.
