The Driver/Tech (Propane Specialist) at Superior Plus Propane is responsible for the safe and timely delivery and installation of propane products to customers.   • Transfer, collect, load, and deliver propane products to and from containers for customers.
  • Initiate and conduct the asset verification process and collect customer signatures/stamps and payments if necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle while leveraging technology to monitor and track propane inventory and delivery tickets.
  • Conduct pre and post vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher.
  • Collaborate with the Dispatcher for routing and scheduling information, notifying them of any issues immediately.
  • Provide timely propane tank installations, ensuring compliance with state/local codes and safety policies.
  • Respond to customer emergencies and perform tank maintenance and inspections.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one (1) year job related (Propane) experience
  • CDL Class A or B with Tanker & Hazmat
  • Clean drivers abstract
  • Up-to-date DOT medical certification
  • Willingness to rotate 'on call' status during evenings and weekends as needed.
