About The Position

The Driver/Tech (Propane Specialist) at Superior Plus Propane is responsible for the safe and timely delivery and installation of propane products to customers. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, adherence to safety standards, and regular vehicle maintenance. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one (1) year job related (Propane) experience
• CDL Class A or B with Tanker & Hazmat
• Clean drivers abstract
• Up-to-date DOT medical certification
• Willingness to rotate 'on call' status during evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Transfer, collect, load, and deliver propane products to and from containers for customers.
• Initiate and conduct the asset verification process and collect customer signatures/stamps and payments if necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle while leveraging technology to monitor and track propane inventory and delivery tickets.
• Conduct pre and post vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher.
• Collaborate with the Dispatcher for routing and scheduling information, notifying them of any issues immediately.
• Provide timely propane tank installations, ensuring compliance with state/local codes and safety policies.
• Respond to customer emergencies and perform tank maintenance and inspections.
