About The Position

Provides transportation of clients to/from work/school, clinic/office, doctors' appointments and other program activities. Highway/City driving required. May be required to drive vehicle for an extended period of time. Provides ongoing support to clients, Therapy and CSC staff.

Requirements

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED and one-year experience with disabled or handicap individuals, and 5 years driving experience.
• Must hold current, violation free driver's license.
• Must be flexible to change in daily routine and schedules
• Be able to follow directions well
• Demonstrate strong communication skills
• Be able to read and follow transportation schedule
• Be motivated to perform assigned duties.
• Some heavy lifting required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely transportation to clients who are reporting to/from work/school, clinic/office, doctor's appointments and other program activities.
• Routinely check vehicles for fluid levels, tire pressure, general wear and tear and report to Supervisors/Transportation Coordinator.
• Pick up and deliver vehicles for maintenance and repair.
• Must cooperate with and/or assist all representatives of State Licensing Agencies/Accreditation bodies, as needed, during inspections and surveys.
• Any other duties assigned.
