The main purpose of this position is to assist Company Drivers and Owner Operators with questions regarding fuel, permits, tolls, and their paychecks or settlements. Responsibilities: Answer phone calls from drivers, record and solve problems, explain their paychecks with regard to deductions and amounts, resolve any errors that might have occurred, and research settlement pay issues on Owner/Operator settlements. Issue advances to drivers for company expense and personal money. Answer phone calls from drivers and advise them on fuel locations, cash fuel, and authorization number for emergency fuel. Assist drivers in person or over the phone by ordering registrations, licenses, or permits, and answering questions regarding permit requirements. Order and cancel toll passes from states as needed. Answer toll calls from drivers, terminals, or state agencies. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisory personnel. Timely and regular attendance according to the scheduled shift as determined by supervisory personnel. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows including Word and Excel. Knowledge of AS400 system is a plus. Alphanumeric data entry skills of 5,000 kph with a 10% error rate or less. Ability to communicate in a calm, courteous, and professional manner. Ability to handle stressful situations. Knowledge of United States geography. High degree of accuracy and good organizational skills.
