Driver - Shuttle Doubles - DOT-Albany, GA

About the position

The Shuttle Driver will deliver loaded trailers to the shuttle depot and return the empty trailers back to the branch. Responsibilities include maintaining delivery time windows, immediately communicating problems with the supervisor, and performing duties by following the company's safety standards. The driver is expected to represent Ben E. Keith with professionalism, maintaining a positive attitude, and adhering to dress code and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver loaded trailers to the shuttle depot and return empty trailers to the branch.
• Maintain delivery time windows.
• Immediately communicate problems with supervisor.
• Perform duties by following the company's safety standards.
• Represent Ben E. Keith with professionalism and maintain a positive attitude.

Requirements

• Must have a good driving record with no more than 1 moving violation in the past three (3) years.
• Applicant must pass required Drug and Physical Screening.
• At least 1 year of DOT driving experience required.
• Must have a valid state issued Class A CDL driver's license with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements.
• Ability to operate/drive a single axle with 28 ft., 36 ft., and 48 ft., trailers with tandem axle tractors.
• Must have High School Diploma or GED - Work experience may be substituted for education.
