About The Position

The Driver/Shipping and Receiving Role is primarily responsible for safely transporting goods between our company locations and select customer sites. The position is not exclusively driving; approximately 50% of the time will be spent learning and supporting shipping and receiving processes as a backup to that team. Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred but not required.
Must successfully pass a DOT medical examination.
Ability to operate trucks safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs]).
Reliable, punctual, and flexible to adapt to varying responsibilities.
Willingness to learn shipping and receiving processes and support the team.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods between company locations and to select customer sites.
Ensure all deliveries and pickups are completed on schedule.
Maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with company and DOT regulations.
Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure proper working condition.
Learn and assist in daily shipping and receiving operations.
Unload, inspect, and organize incoming shipments.
Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
Serve as a backup to the shipping and receiving team as needed.
