The position involves providing special instruction to students in compliance with school-system and program requirements, as well as state and federal regulations. The role includes implementing an instructional, therapeutic, and skill development program tailored for differentiated learning levels. Responsibilities also encompass conducting formal and informal assessments of all students, planning and utilizing appropriate instructional strategies, and integrating activities, materials, and equipment that align with the accommodations set in each student's Individual Education Plan. Additionally, the position requires planning and supervising assignments for staff members assisting with students, establishing and maintaining open lines of communication with all parties involved, and completing required documentation within specified timelines.
