Position Overview: Roll Off Driver Gold Medal Environmental is seeking a Roll Off Driver to join our dedicated team. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Valid Class A or B CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with a clean driving record
Proven experience driving roll-off trucks or other heavy-duty vehicles is a plus, but not required
Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and DOT physical exam
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work in varying weather conditions

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of safety regulations in the waste management industry preferred
Experience with roll-off truck operations preferred
Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting preferred

Responsibilities

Drive Roll-Off Trucks: Safely operate roll-off trucks to collect and transport waste from various residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns during pickups, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Safety First: Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Vehicle Inspections: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition, reporting any issues.
Waste Disposal: Properly load and unload waste at authorized disposal sites, including landfills and recycling centers.
Documentation: Complete required paperwork, including daily logs, inspection forms, and waste manifests.
Maintenance and Cleanliness: Keep trucks clean and well-maintained to ensure the vehicle’s longevity and presentation.
Assist with Roll-Off Bin Placement: Help place or remove roll-off containers at customer sites when needed.
