Position Summary The Roll-Off Driver is responsible for delivering, placing, and removing roll-off containers at customer sites. This role requires advanced driving skills, strong situational awareness, and the ability to operate in tight and complex environments.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement
  • Valid DOT medical certification
  • Ability to safely operate heavy equipment in complex environments

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year CDL experience
  • Experience with roll-off or heavy equipment
  • Experience in construction or industrial environments

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate strong vehicle control, including backing, turning, and maneuvering in tight or congested environments
  • Comply with all applicable DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies and procedures
  • Perform and document pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Execute precise backing and placement maneuvers in confined and high-traffic environments
  • Report all safety concerns, incidents, or mechanical issues immediately
  • Deliver and remove roll-off containers at commercial, industrial, and construction sites
  • Accurately position containers in tight or restricted environments, including construction sites and confined spaces, while avoiding property damage
  • Ensure loads are secured properly before transport
  • Communicate with customers regarding container placement and service expectations
  • Complete routes safely, on time, and in accordance with service and productivity expectations
  • Adjust to changing route demands and service requests
  • Transport waste to disposal or recycling facilities
  • Follow all procedures for safe loading, unloading, and disposal
  • Complete required manifests and documentation
  • Maintain clean and operational equipment
  • Ensure customer sites are left in safe and acceptable condition
  • Complete DVIRs, service tickets, and logs accurately
  • Maintain communication with dispatch and operations
  • Drivers are responsible for safe operation.
  • The Safety Department provides training and oversight. Drivers must consistently follow all safety protocols and procedures.
