Position Summary The Roll-Off Driver is responsible for delivering, placing, and removing roll-off containers at customer sites. This role requires advanced driving skills, strong situational awareness, and the ability to operate in tight and complex environments.

Requirements

Valid Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement
Valid DOT medical certification
Ability to safely operate heavy equipment in complex environments

Nice To Haves

1+ year CDL experience
Experience with roll-off or heavy equipment
Experience in construction or industrial environments

Responsibilities

Demonstrate strong vehicle control, including backing, turning, and maneuvering in tight or congested environments
Comply with all applicable DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies and procedures
Perform and document pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Execute precise backing and placement maneuvers in confined and high-traffic environments
Report all safety concerns, incidents, or mechanical issues immediately
Deliver and remove roll-off containers at commercial, industrial, and construction sites
Accurately position containers in tight or restricted environments, including construction sites and confined spaces, while avoiding property damage
Ensure loads are secured properly before transport
Communicate with customers regarding container placement and service expectations
Complete routes safely, on time, and in accordance with service and productivity expectations
Adjust to changing route demands and service requests
Transport waste to disposal or recycling facilities
Follow all procedures for safe loading, unloading, and disposal
Complete required manifests and documentation
Maintain clean and operational equipment
Ensure customer sites are left in safe and acceptable condition
Complete DVIRs, service tickets, and logs accurately
Maintain communication with dispatch and operations
Drivers are responsible for safe operation.
The Safety Department provides training and oversight. Drivers must consistently follow all safety protocols and procedures.
