  • Previous truck driver recruiting experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Actively recruit CDL-A truck drivers to join PGT and assist candidates through the onboarding process.
  • Identify prospective driver candidates using a variety of sources, including lead generation, and prequalify applicants.
  • Effectively communicate company benefits, pay packages, and other information to driver candidates.
  • Utilize the applicant tracking system and accurately input driver information to compile the candidate's profile.
  • Consult and collaborate with internal partners on sourcing strategy, interviewing techniques, and market data.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the transportation industry and DOT regulations.
  • Manage a high volume of incoming and outgoing phone calls to reach all interested driver candidates.
  • Provide a supportive and comprehensive onboarding process for driver candidates, from initial contact through driver orientation and training.
  • Maintain strict levels of confidentiality while dealing with sensitive information.
  • Coordinate events, attend career fairs, conduct school visits, and network with potential candidates through social media.
  • Reach individual and company hiring goals to maintain the company's seated truck count.
