Driver/ Program Aide - Columbus Veterans Program
About The Position
Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana seeks energetic, self-motivated, dynamic professionals to join its expanding team. The Driver will be responsible for providing transportation and other support necessary to enable homeless veterans to secure and maintain gainful employment, thereby increasing their likelihood of long-term economic self-sufficiency and residential stability. Requirements
- High school degree or GED
- two years of transportation and/or clerical experience required
- Ohio driver’s license and clean driving record essential
- must be insurable by Volunteers of America
- A commitment to working with veterans, people in recovery, and/or homeless individuals is essential
Nice To Haves
- Clerical and computer experience preferred
- Priority consideration will be given to hiring veterans
