About The Position

Internal Transportation/ Picker Packer This role is for a transportation position with duties that include but are not limited to the following: This person will transport material between 2 sites. The sites are less than 1/2 mile away from each other. Drive box truck between 102 and 150 buildings delivering daily requirements Loading and Unloading truck that consists of: Loose items, Pallets and Boxes as required for daily operations and shipments, Ability to pick, pack, move and ship items with company truck. Load items on outside delivery trailers. Unload third party trucks with Pallet Jack, Hand Jack, Forklift as required. Move items to and from storage areas as needed. Use computer to systemically move items. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. This person must have a valid driver's license. Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment: Work is performed in a production environment where disruptions occur frequently. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Physical Demands: The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
