About The Position

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
• Physical ability to assist patients with mobility challenges as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience driving in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
• Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns in the Larkin Behavioral Health Services area.
• Experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs or disabilities.
• Customer service training or experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from healthcare facilities, appointments, and other designated locations safely and punctually.
• Assist patients with entering and exiting vehicles when necessary, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and operational condition of the vehicle, performing routine inspections and reporting any maintenance needs.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and organizational policies to ensure secure transportation services.
• Coordinate with healthcare staff to manage scheduling and route planning to optimize transportation efficiency.
