About The Position

The Patient Driver at Turning Point Care Center is responsible for transporting patients to and from various locations, both locally and long-distance, using company vehicles. This full-time position requires a motivated individual who can work well under direct supervision, make quick decisions, and collaborate effectively within a team. The role also offers shift differential premium pay for hours worked between 3:00 PM and 7:00 AM, contributing to a rewarding work environment focused on improving patients' lives.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ten (10) years of driving experience operating passenger cars, vans, or buses.
• One (1) year of experience in a patient field preferred.
• Experience working with substance abuse or behavioral health patients preferred.
• Ability to perform physical activities such as prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Current Georgia Driver's License with specific driving record requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of therapeutic communication techniques.
