Job Responsibilities: Deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, and vendors Pick up parts and equipment from customers and vendors to be coordinated with the Dispatcher, Parts Manager and Parts Counter people before leaving Checks with the parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, parts counter people, or shipping and receiving clerk before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries. Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up. Checks payments received with the invoices for each delivery. Handles basic truck maintenance, including filling the tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean, and ensuring required inspections are performed. Complete a log at the time of delivery and request the recipient’s signature Unload truck each night. Turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts department Maintains professional appearance Other tasks as assigned. QualificationsJob Qualifications: Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information Valid driver’s license and a good driving record Ability to use computer and calculator Will be trained in the parts department’s computer inventory system Ability to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors, and other contacts Comfortable lifting to 50 lbs and lifting frequently Experience in automotive repair or parts sales preferred Professional personal appearance
