About The Position

Are you an experienced Driver looking to work for an amazing organization by serving others and connecting with your co-workers? Immanuel Pathways PACE® is seeking a Part Time Days Driver to work at Pathways Southwest Iowa located at 1702 North 16th Street, Council Bluffs, IA 51501. This position will pay up to $23.36/hour. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s license is required.
• In Iowa, Chaueffer's license will be required prior to hire.
• Must be able to successfully pass a DOT Medical Exam and obtain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• Hiring is contingent on successfully passing a DOT Medial Exam and obtaining DOT Medial Examiner’s Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely transportation of Immanuel Pathways participants, under the supervision of the Transportation Supervisor.
• Transport meals, durable medical equipment, pharmacy, and any other items deemed necessary.
• Responsible for the overall cleanliness and safety of the vehicle assigned on a daily basis.
• Responsible for communicating any safety issue to the Transportation Supervisor.
• Be capable of, and experienced in, transporting individuals with special mobility needs.
