About The Position

That's 4 days off per week! This is a huge opportunity to take control of your finances and have more control with your free time. No experience? No worries! We'll train you! You will be in the truck by yourself - but will have our Dispatcher guiding you over a smart-phone. This is a very meaningful & personally-gratifying position - helping our customers who appreciate our unique valued-service! Candidates selected for interview will be contacted directly. Job Title: Driver of Roll-Off Dumpsters, with a smaller, residential-friendly, single-axle truck Note: You do NOT need a CDL to drive for us! We will train. If you can drive a large pick-up Truck, then you can drive our trucks. Many of our drivers never possessed a CDL before; and they do very well! Job Description: Delivery and pick up 6 - 20 yard roll off dumpsters for construction /household debris. Terms of Employment: 32-35 hrs per week. 4 week rotating schedule: (Mon/Tue/Wed...then next month Thur/Fri/Sat, etc.). Anticipated Start Date: Immediate Openings Available!

Requirements

Must be at least 25 years of age or older, with Clean driving record
Professional, friendly demeanor and neat appearance a must
Must be able to speak, read, and write English well enough to represent company in a professional manner, understand highway traffic and signals, respond to official questions, and be able to make legible entries on reports and records
Ability to perform physical requirements of the position
Requires a Current commercial DOT driver's medical card; if you don't have one, you will need to get one (cost about $80)
Must have good understanding of local area and neighborhoods
On-boarding Requires Criminal History Background check; MVR record screening also performed
Must be able to pass 12-panel drug screening

Nice To Haves

Some commercial vehicle operation experience preferable
Experience in construction industry is an asset
Prefer candidates who have familiarity with smart-phones.

Responsibilities

Delivery and pick up 6 - 20 yard roll off dumpsters for construction /household debris.
Operate and drive lift trucks to transport trash
Tarp and ensure safety and security of cargo
Receive and relay information to central dispatcher
Perform pre and post trip inspections of vehicle.
Maintain cleanliness of vehicle.
Handle inquiries from customers.
