The role involves transporting ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients with wheeled chairs and stretchers under the direct supervision of an EMS Supervisor or Paramedic. The individual is responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is clean and prepared for safe patient transport, documenting transports for departmental records and billing purposes, and communicating effectively with patients, nursing staff, and the Medical Transport Dispatcher.
