About The Position

Ryder is hiring a NON CDL Driver in Gustine, TX. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a stable driving career. Drivers can expect to earn $1210 or more per week, with an hourly pay of $22.00 for an average of 50 hours per week. Paid training is provided, and the schedule is Monday to Friday, with a 3:00 AM dispatch start time. The role involves solo deliveries to Central TX, driving a Reefer Box Truck, and handling heavy touch freight, specifically dairy products, using a pallet jack and hand truck. Ryder's trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance, and company drivers can fuel up at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide. Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Must have verifiable driving experience (must be in like equipment if position being applied for is operating a straight truck or box truck): 6 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
• Customer Service Experience Required

• Pallet Jack experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely driving a vehicle within and requiring compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Other tasks as assigned
