About The Position

are seeking a Hospital Tripper/Driver to join our team at our program in
Coraopolis, PA.

No experience required - we provide PAID training.

Earn $18/hr. with the selection of the Enhanced Pay Option.

Staff will be required to follow a designated routine and assignments as
outlined by the HSS/AHSS. Escorts residents via Merakey/Allegheny Valley School
vehicles or emergency vehicles to doctors' offices, health centers or emergency
rooms. Ensures safe transportation, i.e., secures wheelchairs and individuals in
vehicles and supervises during transport. Develops and maintains professional
rapport with personnel of doctors' offices, clinics and hospitals. This is a
non-professional position entailing the operation of the facilities motor
vehicles while transporting individuals to and from medical appointments, trips,
and to and from their residence to the program centers as designated.

Requirements

• Previous experience driving various size vehicles (non CDL).
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
• A high school diploma is required.

Nice To Haves

• Related work experience with individuals with IDD and/or direct care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The MVO/PA/HT SFR is also involved with providing direct care to individuals with Intellectual Developmental disabilities.
• Staff also provide assistance with transfers/lifts as well as hygiene while on medical appointments
• Direct supervision is provided by the Health Services Supervisor/Nursing Department.
