About The Position
As a Class A CDL Driver at Gerdau, you will play a crucial role in our operations by driving large mobile equipment and ensuring the safe transportation of steel products. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is knowledgeable about DOT regulations and enjoys working outdoors. You will be responsible for operating standard factory-equipped diesel trucks and trailers, making deliveries and pickups, and maintaining accurate records of your trips. Your work will involve following prescribed methods and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and maintaining a courteous relationship with customers and suppliers. The role also includes physical tasks such as loading and unloading materials, which may require some light physical effort and mental focus.
