About The Position

We’re seeking a dependable, compassionate Facility Driver who is committed to ensuring clients arrive safely and comfortably to their scheduled activities. In this role, you’re not “just a driver”—you’re an essential part of the client support system and the overall success of our program.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record from the last 4 years and at least 4 years of driving experience.
  • Must pass a LiveScan background check as required by licensing agencies.
  • CPR & First Aid Certification required.
  • Dependable, professional, and safety-focused.
  • Comfortable interacting with clients in a supportive, respectful manner.
  • Able to remain calm and attentive during transport and unexpected client situations.
  • Flexible and willing to assist residential floor staff when additional support is needed (training provided).

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced in behavioral health or SUD settings (preferred, not required).
  • Confident in navigating local routes and maintaining a schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, supervised transportation for clients to scheduled off-site appointments and activities including therapy, physician visits, recreational activities, and wellness programs.
  • Follow and enforce transportation policies, safety procedures, and client guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of company vehicles, complete monthly safety inspections, track mileage, and report maintenance needs promptly.
  • Observe client behavior during transport and communicate concerns to the Medical and Clinical teams.
  • Document and report critical incidents immediately to your supervisor.
  • Work closely with clinical, medical, operations, and residential staff to ensure seamless client care and support.
  • In the event that one of our residential facilities requires additional support, you may be scheduled to assist as floor staff. You will receive full training to perform these duties safely and confidently.
  • Participate in mandatory Health & Safety, compliance, and cross-training programs.
  • Maintain compliance with DHCS, DSS, Joint Commission, and all federal/state regulations.
  • Follow company policies regarding safety, confidentiality, transportation procedures, and ethical conduct.
  • Participate in audits, training, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
