About The Position

We’re hiring a Construction Mechanic / Driver to maintain, repair, and service equipment in both the shop and field. This role focuses on ensuring all tools and equipment are safe, operational, and compliant with OSHA and DOT standards, while supporting field operations and project teams.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Basic computer skills (typing, email, internet).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair experience.
• Ability to work independently in the shop or field.
• Professional, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

• First Aid / CPR certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on small tools, light equipment, and vehicles.
• Inspect equipment to identify service and repair needs, following manufacturer guidelines and checklists.
• Test-drive and operate equipment to confirm proper function after maintenance or repair.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Clean, wash, and organize equipment and workspaces.
• Support field operations by performing equipment service on-site as needed.
• Collaborate with field superintendents to discuss service requirements and priorities.
• Follow all OSHA and DOT safety requirements and work in a safe, hazard-aware manner.
• Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned.
