About The Position
The driver manager ("DM") is a key leadership position responsible for the management of 30-35 company drivers. The DM oversees the day-to-day execution of their assigned driver fleet and is accountable for the performance of their drivers in the areas of service, safety, utilization, and retention. The DM will focus on maintaining positive employee relationships and will conduct regular performance reviews with their drivers, determining corrective action plans when performance is below expectations. Proficiency in the use of Transportation Management Systems is essential to ensure timely and accurate data.
