About The Position

Quality Carriers, Inc. (QC), headquartered in Tampa, FL, is North America's largest bulk liquid chemical carrier. Through a network of more than 100 terminals and facilities, we transport a broad range of chemical products and provide our customers with value-added transportation services. Essential Functions: Works with assigned group of drivers on a daily basis to by reviewing dispatches for legality, safety, equipment needs, time off expectations, etc. Work with maintenance team on a daily basis to schedule all tractors in need of PM or frequency work into shop. Maintain a driver calendar after approval from DM for requested home time. Ensure drivers hours of service are properly updated in the TMW system. Ensure all monthly required training is completed Tracks drivers throughout their loads and communicates any delays to appropriate people then documents in load notes reason for delay Reviewing TMW events to ensure proper actualization and reporting to DM when drivers are not keeping their events current Ensuring all needed paperwork is generated and given to the driver for his/her load. Ensuring drivers are notified when credentials are about to expire, i.e. CDL, Physical, TWIC, etc. Works with Central Scheduling to get reloads for system drivers Corrects Total Mail errors daily. Requirements

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • High School Diploma
  • Solid computer skills must be comfortable using a computer and various software programs.
  • Working knowledge of Word & Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year bulk transportation industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of DOT requirements preferred
  • Experience with CSA expectation and Safety procedures preferred
