About The Position
As a Driver Lot Porter you will play a crucial part in the customer check-in process by efficiently driving trucks from the customer service area to the service repair garage and, once repaired, returning them to the front of the building for customer retrieval. Your responsibilities will extend beyond truck transportation, encompassing the maintenance of trucks on the lot, ensuring they are clean and visually appealing to potential customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for keeping the lot in a clean and marketable condition, conducting weekly inventory checks, and handling local deliveries. As a vital link between the sales department and service/body shop, you will act as a liaison to facilitate seamless communication. Requirements
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Two (2) plus years driving experience preferred
- Must have good time management skills and be detail oriented
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Must be able to pass post offer drug test, and physical
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the trucks on lot clean and looking presentable for potential customers
- Maintaining lot in clean and marketable condition
- Weekly inventory checks, including starting/running vehicles
- Local deliveries
- Liaison between sales department and service/body shop
- Performing additional tasks as required by the department
- Performing minor mechanical repairs as needed
