About The Position
This is a full-time, onsite position with the Department of Public Safety - Driver Licensing. The hours for this position will be 40 hours a week (typically 4 ten-hour days). Workdays will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. This job may require travel away from home. Typically, this is for the work day but could extend up to 4 days of the week depending on the needs of the department. As a Driver License Examiner, you will have substantial contact with the public under potentially stressful conditions and you are expected to treat the public in a professional and courteous manner at all times. This job also requires you to work with a diverse group of people and situations and you will handle very sensitive materials.
