About The Position

Wenger Corporation is seeking a Driver | Installer to safely and efficiently deliver and install Wenger products, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction. This remote, over-the-road position requires periodic travel to the corporate headquarters in Owatonna, Minnesota, and candidates should reside within a commutable distance. The role involves operating company vehicles, supervising installation personnel, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Five (5) years driving, mechanical, carpentry and/or supervisory experience
• Drug and alcohol-free driving record

Nice To Haves

• Two (2) years additional technical training
• Current valid C.D.L. and medical exam preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Operate a company vehicle, either van or semi-truck, in a safe and legal manner to deliver Wenger products to customer locations.
• Provide direct supervision and work guidance to personnel hired on the job site for efficient installation of Wenger products.
• Record, calculate, and pay labor hired on the job site accurately and in compliance with regulations.
• Use or supervise the use of a variety of power and hand tools to ensure safety of all personnel.
• Provide clear and concise written reports on all deliveries and installations, including recommendations for resolving customer issues.
• Meet productivity and profitability metrics.
• Ensure compliance with workplace and trade safety laws, regulations, standards, and practices.
