Join Better Trucks as a Delivery Driver Partner, where you will play a crucial role in our last-mile parcel delivery service. Better Trucks is a rapidly growing start-up that specializes in residential delivery across the nation, and we are currently expanding our team in New York. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while earning competitive pay for your deliveries. The expected earnings range from $110 to $200+ per route, depending on the number of packages delivered and the efficiency of your route completion. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering packages to customers in a timely manner. Most routes are designed to take between 5 to 8 hours, but many drivers find they can complete their deliveries in under 4 hours, allowing for extra earnings. You will be using your own vehicle, which can include a car, minivan, cargo/sprinter van, SUV, or pickup truck with a covered bed. There are no CDL requirements, making this an accessible opportunity for many. As a Better Trucks driver, you will enjoy the freedom of the open road without passengers, allowing you to listen to music, audiobooks, or podcasts while you work. Payment is processed the same day upon route completion, and you will be required to return any failed deliveries to the hub at the end of your route. To qualify for this position, you must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and have a reliable vehicle with valid insurance coverage. A background check will also be conducted as part of the onboarding process. We recommend residing within 30 miles of Bethpage/Long Island, NY, to ensure timely access to our delivery routes.
