Requirements
- High School degree or GED, preferred.
- Must be 21 years old.
- Valid Class A CDL, required.
- Valid Medical Certification card, required.
- Must pass MVR check and maintain a good driving record.
- Must be able to drive a standard (manual shift) truck.
- Must pass driver assessment.
- Ability to speak, read and write the English language.
- Reliable transportation and communication, required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous driving experience, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Delivers donations, equipment, supplies to Goodwill stores. Picks up salvage and trash from stores and brings it back to main plant.
- Pick up donations from Attended Donation Centers.
- Maintain daily log of activities.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Make special pickups on Saturday or Sunday.
- Pick-up and delivery of interoffice correspondence between plant and stores.
- Assist in production or warehousing when time allows.
- Abide by the policies and procedures as set forth by management and of GICO.
- Safely operate the Tipper as referenced in the training material.
- Attend all trainings as necessary.
- Reviews and is familiar with Goodwill Industries of Central OK safety policies, programs and procedures. Adheres to all safety rules, regulations, and safety codes, and attends safety training sessions and necessary safety meetings.
- Consults with company drivers to ensure timeliness and route efficiency.
- Punctual & dependable attendance.
- Professional manner with customers, co-workers and public.
- Performs other duties as required.
