About The Position

The CDL Driver II is responsible for transporting hazardous and non‑hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and client sites. This role operates a variety of equipment, including manual and automatic vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, and flatbeds, while maintaining full compliance with all DOT and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• CDL Class A or B with tanker endorsement.
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial Class A driving experience, including tanker work.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Regional or home‑daily schedule depending on route needs.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial vehicles to transport materials according to all DOT regulations and scheduled delivery commitments.
• Operate specialized pump equipment to load, unload, and disperse hazardous and non‑hazardous materials.
• Perform complete pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections on both vehicle and equipment.
• Complete all required transportation documentation, including manifests, bills of lading, medical waste tracking, delivery receipts, logs, and inspection reports.
• Ensure proper placarding of all vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Maintain communication with dispatch, customers, and fellow drivers regarding load status, routing, and delays.
• Follow all safety procedures to protect employees, customers, and the public.
• Read and interpret maps and follow written or verbal route instructions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
