Responsibilities
- Pick up, transport and drop off residents at locations on our 130 acre Campus.
- Drive residents to appointments and functions off campus within the Metro area.
- Assist residents in and out of the vehicle while also loading and unloading any wheelchairs, walkers or other equipment the resident brings with them.
- Pay close attention to driving laws, safety regulations, signs and policies at all times.
- Clean and thoroughly check vehicles before shift and when shift is completed.
- Receive and follow maintenance schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established maintenance policies and procedures.
- Communicate with passengers in a friendly and courteous manner.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
- Active Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement, required.
- One (1) year related experience as a professional driver transporting passengers.
