Requirements

  • High School Grad or Equiv (Required)
  • Driver's License (DL) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
  • Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack certification (FKLT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to all safety protocols and procedures during transportation.
  • Communicates effectively with relevant departments to coordinate transportation needs.
  • Operates transportation vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and organizational policies.
  • Maintains cleanliness and proper functioning of transportation vehicles.
  • Reports any vehicle maintenance issues or incidents promptly.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Utilizes tracking systems and devices to monitor the status of transported items.
  • Follows proper procedures for the transport of hazardous materials.
  • Provides excellent customer service during interactions with staff and clients.
  • Completes required training and certifications for safe transportation practices.
  • Transports biological specimens, medical supplies, equipment, reports, patient care records, pharmacy preparations, and related paperwork according to defined schedules or urgent requests.
  • Leverages technology to communicate with internal dispatch command center
  • Ensures the security and proper handling of all transported items.
  • Maintains accurate and timely delivery records for all transported items.
